Fuori Fase is my thesis project that develops from a theoretical reflection on the concept of the unfinished — not as a flaw, but as a lens to question dominant aesthetic and social structures. Through layers and superstructures, I construct an imaginary where interruption, absence, and fragmentation become tools for critique. By isolating incomplete images and narratives, I explore what is excluded or marginalized in the pursuit of coherence and perfection. The project challenges the idea that harmony is inherently ethical, and instead proposes the unfinished as a space for resistance and redefinition. I placed opposing poles —functionality and excess, asepticity and decoration — within an empty, neutral space, allowing them to coexist and redifine meanings.
